BMW 6-Series Range Models are Coming Again with Minor Updates
|   Wednesday, August 13, 2014
The BMW's Series 6 consists of luxurious grand touring products. Latest models are going to be run in next year at the Motor Show in Geneva where all the updates will be marked by the experts.

As per few reports, it is not expected that BMW will bring huge changes in the upcoming models. F12 and F13 models will have basically same look from external view. However internal views will be changed in a dramatic way.

The four door based amazing Gran Coupe will have same basics with few minor updates in engine and interior.
It will compete with its long time rivals Audi and Mercedes Benz upcoming models in 2015.

The new models of BMW series 6 models are to be updated minorly for its mid life face lift. There will be few cosmetic changes with a new dynamic interior decoration. With this update, the new model will be shown first during a motor show at Geneva in the month of March.

This news has been in the market for a longer period via the spy cams which took great pictures of Gran Coupe and Coupe during their testing. Within a few years of first manufacture, every car is converted to a mid-life and face lifted. This model of 6 series has become 3 years old now and hence it should think about a light face lift to have very soon.

Many sources believe positively that these updates will be basically applied on the front bumpers, both front and rear lighting clusters and side ways air vents etc.
However reports suggest that interior parts will be more enhanced in order to make it look even better and comprehensive. It is believed that BMW is willing to replace the currently used rotary control with the new infotainment jack named as iDrive. A touch pad unit will be fixed anywhere in the interior to give it a modern look.

BMW has shown no intention in changing the current engine in a big way. Only a few improvements will applied to it in order to consume less fuel and deliver more mileage.

The BMW series 6 has been coming with six cylinder based turbo petrol or diesel engine with V8 turbo capacity. Transmission has 6 speed manual and 8 speed 8HP ZF automatic versions. These parameters will hardly change. Only a few improvements may appear in these configurations.

Generation 3 models of BMW normally have 112.4 inch wheelbase. Convertible models are of 192.8 inch length and Coupes are of almost same length. These size and shapes are expected to remain the same as well.

Width and height of series 6 models are 74.6 inch and 53.7 inches approximately. BMW is not interested to change in these configurations either. Rather it is brining minor changes to performance and looks of the interior of its models.

Next year there will be huge competitions between Gran Coupe and Coupe type models along with convertible styles. So viewers get ready for the huge show at the Geneva for motor launches in the mid of 2015.
