BMW 4 Series M Sports Spied Testing in Munich
|   Tuesday, June 04, 2013
The latest images of the BMW 4 Series M Sports Coupe have come in as the vehicle was spotted testing in Munich on open public roads. This gives birth to the general conception that the vehicle is ready for launch or else BMW would not have it out on public roads so soon. The first thing that people notice about the new 4 Series is its aggressive looking front end. The bumper has been revised and this gives the car a mean look.

The M Sport will be at the top of the line before the new M4 arrives and BMW is offering four specifications on this model – Luxury, Modern, Sport and SE.
These modes are expected to feature on the M4 as well although it is some time before the M4 makes it across showrooms.

The M Sport features a 10 mm drop in suspension while exterior wise this vehicle is a beast. The unique sports alloyed wheels and with the body kit enhance the visual appeal of this vehicle. These features also distinguish the current flagship 4 Series vehicle from its smaller cousins. BMW has put great thought behind all its vehicles and this is clearly showcased in the way this car is designed.

The 4 Series was initially showcased at the Detroit Motor Show and is expected to go on sale later this year. The 3 Series Coupe will also make its official debut this year and the large vents at the rear along with the other unmistakable features confirm the new design change. The exhaust pipes have also been prepped and this is expected to enhance the exhaust note on the vehicle.

BMW is known for perfection and that is evident in the way this car is designed both on the interior and exterior. The 4 Series is built on a strong yet light weight chassis and this has been done primarily to reduce the weight of the car. The integrated tail pipes are bolted to the chassis and they form a wire mesh around the bottom of the car.

The exhaust runs along the length of the front to the rear panels and is unmistakably quite well engineered. Heat waves do not radiate into the cabin which is well guarded against excess heat and sound and while the windows are rolled up, the cabin is completely separated from the outside environment. BMW plans on rolling out a 4 Series Coupe quite soon, which is expected to be showcased within late this year.

The much awaited Gran Cabriole is however unlikely to be available before 2015 while the highly anticipated M4 will be the final version in this lineup and could also make a debut the same year. Therefore, as far as the company is concerned, the M Sport is the flag ship production at the moment while the M4 is still under construction. BMW does not want to hurry up with the project as it is quite an important undertaking and needs thorough tests before launch.
