Bentley has finally released the complete specification list of its flagship model, the new Continental GT Speed. The vehicle features an all wheel drive system and it has a top speed of 305 mph. The car was first showcased at the Moscow Auto Show and the GT Speed is the fastest ever production line Bentley.

Bentley has opened bookings for this vehicle and the company hopes to start deliveries by mid October 2012.
The car is powered by an all new W12 twin turbo, super charged 6 liter engine and the car produces a massive 625 PS at 6000 RPM.

Torque figures range from 2000 to 5000 RPM and the car provides high performance almost instantly. The GT Speed has an advanced eight speed, super close automatic transmission and the car powers up from 0 – 60 mph in less than 4 seconds flat. 0 – 100 mph is reached in a respectable 9 seconds, considering the excess weight of the car.

Bentley is known for its intricately designed vehicles and class toping luxury features and the GT Speed does not disappoint. The car has an increased chassis with new improved springs and the ride height has been lowered by 10 mm. This gives the car better stability and the suspension has been tweaked to handle road conditions better.

The Continental GT Speed is a potent track vehicle and it has the effective cornering ability that every track car desires. The car feels smooth and fast from the word go and the enhanced handling offers increased drive ability and control.

The car features an even deeper exhaust sound and the engine revs up real hard when pressed to the limit. The engine is highly refined and produces maximum power when pushed to the limit and it feels quite stable even at high speeds.

Exterior features distinguish the GT Speed from the other Continental models and these include an enhanced 21 inch rim, dark six spoke alloyed wheels, black radiator paint scheme, bumper grille and an enhanced smoke pipe.

The GT Speed features an all new chassis and body frame and the car features new software which enables a sportier drive experience. The GT Speed's self leveling system enables the car to monitor the road conditions and set up the driving mode accordingly.

GT Speed's chassis has been designed to fit a stiffer suspension and this enables better control of the vehicle at all situations. The electronic stability control of the GT Speed has been optimized for enhanced drive ability and the car still offers the dynamic driving mode that allows greater stability at high speeds.

The GT Speed has been empowered with a powerful 405 mm front disk brake and a 335 mm rear disc. The new carbon silicon carbide disc brakes offer greater stopping capability and this saves an additional 20 kg of excess weight.

The braking system has been fitted with an advanced dual ABS system with hydraulic braking system, electronic brake assistance and drag torque control. Overall, the GT Speed offers better driving pleasure and great performance.
