Bentley Celebrates Its 95th Anniversary With Limited Edition Of Mulsanne
|   Saturday, May 24, 2014
The Bentley Mulsanne 95 is a special edition of the British model made to celebrate 95 years of existence for the company in Crewe. The English will lead an exclusive limited edition to a new level, so only 15 units will be available in three bodywork colors and sold only in the United Kingdom.

The three exclusive colors of the Mulsanne 95 limited edition are called Britannia Blue, Empire Red and Oxford White. The interior will benefit from customization options like white with blue upholstery, and red stitching and especially embroidered seats, Fulbeck wood trim and side skirts with lighting interior decoration.
The Fulbeck wood comes from a walnut tree, whose age is estimated to be 300 - 400 years old, which fell in Lincolnshire village back in 2007.

According to Bentley's press release, "the Fulbeck Walnut veneer features in the signature ‘ring of wood' that encompasses the entire interior, and its complex pattern displays a rare rippled effect which sweeps through the cabin. This unique veneer is complemented by a blue and white two-tone leather split with red contrast stitching."

The "95" emblem embroidered on the front and rear seats and sculpted on the passenger fascia panel, are distinctive features of the Mulsanne 95's interior.
Besides the fact that only three bodywork colors are offered for the Mulsanne 95, Bentley made the logo with a special black finish applied, and the logo on the 21-inch diameter alloy wheels center caps are included as standard equipment for this limited edition model. All these elements will provide customers a high level of exclusivity, as with any model produced in limited editions and available for a short period of time. With regards to the mechanical side, this model does not present any different elements from what we find in a standard Mulsanne; the same V8 engine, displacing 6.75 liters, is also fitted here.

The Bentley Mulsanne has access to a power of 512 hp and torque of 1,020 Nm, with which it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.3 seconds. At full throttle, the Bentley Mulsanne will be able to reach 296 km / h. Combined fuel consumption is 16.9 liters per 100 kilometers, according to the NEDC cycle.
The basic version starts from 252,900 euros including VAT, and costs significantly less than a Mulsanne 95. The starting price of a Bentley Mulsanne 95 is 319,000 euro.

At the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Bentley introduced an enhanced version of its Mulsanne which offered several optional extras, including a set of luggage designed specifically for the model, precisely designed by the Italians from Sedona.

The automaker has released two other special-edition models: the Le Mans Limited Edition and the Mulsanne Birkin Edition.
The Le Mans Limited Edition Mulsanne was launched to honor the 90th anniversary of the Le Mans race. The Mulsanne Birkin Edition emerged in honor of Sir Henry Ralph Stanley "Tim" Birkin, the 3rd Baronet. He was a British racing driver who competed in the 1920s for Bentley.
