Australian market to be stormed by Nissan Altima and 12 new models by 2015
|   Sunday, November 18, 2012
It has been a long time since Nissan wished to become the number one importer in Australia and hence it has finally decided to bring out twelve new motor vehicles in the coming two and a half years.

Nissan will start launching a lot of cars and you will be extremely wrong if you think they are of the same category. Nissan will bring back certain loved cars and this Japanese brand wishes to surprise us with the introduction of cars in a lot of categories like the all new Patrol and also in 2013 this marvelous Japanese car manufacturer will also bring back the everlasting Nissan Pulsar.
It is a hatch back styled car that gained popularity in the recent times.

In the SUV range, Nissan will be introducing the Pathfinder; all new cars for the coming modern generation followed by the not so big Nissan Altima and the eccentric Nissan Juke. The most waited model this time will be undoubtedly the Pulsar which will come in the sedan category in the month of February and within 3 and a half months, it will be accompanied by its hatchback form.

Bill Peffer, the manager in the Nisan division of Australia has some rather interesting speculation and undoubtedly they have already grabbed the attention of the masses. He has already declared that Nissan has brought the competition for the most popular cars to the new and more challenging level. He says that the company has deliberately entered into the market with cars possessing V8 engines. He promises that the V8 Supercar Altima from Nissan will have enough power and features to rival that of the Ford, Toyota and Holden models.

Back in the United States of America, the Nissan Altima is already number two in its category of most liked cars, the number one being Toyota Camry in that section. It is therefore most probable to provide one of the biggest challenges in Australia in the coming year of 2013 and people are greatly awaiting its introduction as it has zero model identification in the Australian market.

As Peffer says," Our Company shall easily enjoy a well achieved six to eight months influence with the introduction of supercars in the V8 category starting with the Clipsal 500, while we wait for the first Nisan Altima to arrive in the showrooms."

To further heighten the excitement, Peffer also revealed something impressive. He already declared that the Altima will be released with the 2.5 liter 4-cylinder and simultaneously the 3.5 liter 6-cylinder in Australia. He further declared that, "I am quite sure about the fact that most of the sales will be achieved from the Nissan Altima 4-cylinder version."

Peffer further revealed that the Nissan Altima is well designed for a much hybrid drive train, however with the advancement of Nissan engineering; it will definitely look at other alternatives when it comes to drive train.
However, Nissan is only going to introduce the four door sedan and it has declared that it is not considering any other sort of body category at this moment of time.
