Audi vehicles to offer 4G LTE/ 3G service via AT&T
|   Saturday, March 14, 2015
On Tuesday, Audi announced that its upcoming vehicles in 2016 are going to have high speed Internet coverage with either 3G or 4G LTE. For this service they have tied up with AT&T services. This will attract the customers who like to use faster connectivity in their cars to load pages in a fraction of a second and download bigger files in less time.

Primarily Audi has decided to offer this high speed Internet in A Series vehicles like A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 and S Series cars like S3, S4, S5, S6, S7, S8 and Q series cars like Q3, Q5 etc.
Also it will be available with Allroad, SQ5, RS7, TT and TTS as well. Brad Sterz, Audi America's Spokesman told that the current generation based R8 will be missing this facility which will hit the market in next year.

In Geneva's motor show, they have announced that their 2017 R8 is coming to markets earlier in 2016 and it will feature 4G LTE along with other latest options. They have also added this high speed connectivity feature in 2017 Q7 which will be available in showrooms starting from 2016. The AT&T Company will make sure that each buyer of such models can avail high speed Internet access along with nice streaming and navigation facilities.

Currently AT&T provides the best connectivity particularly in 4G LTE technique as far as Audi is concerned. Hence the company is looking forward to add this tech in their future models. To access reliable cloud services, this facility from AT&T will be highly required. Sterz also said that Audi's cars include the navigation systems by default. As per the trim package you choose, the price will vary accordingly.

Audi and AT&T together have decided to offer six months of free Wireless service if a customer buys a new selected Audi model. After six months, rates will be applied as per your convenience. $99 should be paid for six months to get 5GB data and $499 can be paid to get 30GB data for 30 months. A customer can add the new vehicle with current existing plan for mobile by making a payment of $10 only.

Last year, Audi's management team had made a promise that soon they will add 4G LTE feature in their top models. Now they have confirmed their promise and this convenience will give a lot of benefits to Audi's connectivity specifications. It will also take the brand to a different level of competition with its rival brands. Such innovative ideas will be offered from time to time from the house of Audi as said by Filip Brabec, the Director of Audi, America.

They have signed an agreement following which all the 2016 models will be handed over to concerned customers by the Audi dealer having a SIM card of AT&T with active wireless network. It should be noted that Audi has already debuted with this service in 2015 A3 in previous year. For more information buyers can call Audi and put their questions in the helpline number.
