Aston Martin V12 Vantage: a bit too much or just perfect?
|   Tuesday, December 18, 2012
Aston Martin has released a new roadster version of the V12 Vantage coupe. The new roofless Austin Martin V12 Vantage, according to the critics, is pushing their luck a bit too much.

Nevertheless, Aston martin has achieved this near impossible task. It was possible due to the changes done on the chassis of the already existing V12. The specially designed ducktail flip that is included on the boot lid also helped to materialize the dream.

The car is a limited edition, with only 100 models available for sale.
Large production of this car is not possible as it is priced at a whooping 150,000 pounds. This price range can be availed by exclusive customers only. Despite the high price, the 100 models are almost sold out.

The huge V12 from Aston Martin, with a capacity of 6 litres can produce up to 520 horsepower. This two-seater has enough speed to cruise through the highways. The car also has an amazing pickup, although not as great as the earlier V12 Vantage, still in a very much comparable range. The speed coupled with the looks of the makes it a style statement of its own. It feels like an honour to take this car out to the road.

The sound of the engine is enough to send you into an adrenaline rush. The turbocharged engine dominates the thrill of the ride. The excitement attained while driving this car is not comparable to any other existing experiences of the world.

The six speed gearbox is manually controlled and not automatic. Even dual mode control is not available on the car. This makes it a bit outdated. Still the car makes up for this flaw in the other aspects of the car.

The handling of the car is very simple. It has simple steering control. The other controls of the car are also very easy to implement. The car might not be fit for all kinds of road, but it is good enough to handle the difficulties in driving. By removing the roof, the performance of the car has increased due to decrease in the weight of the car.

The ride is very comfortable and luxurious. At the same time it is very stylish. The big rear wheels give great support to the structure of the car and make it easier to control in all circumstances.

The interior designing of the car is as impressive as the exterior looks of the car. The finishing on the interior decorating is remarkable. The roof is very smooth and efficient in controlling. However, the time taken for the roof to go down is a bit too much.

The exterior is well decorated and styled. The body colour looks in sync with the other aspects of decorations. The lights are also very up to date and look good on the car.

It is a very secure drive. The fuel economy of the car is also impressive. It drives at a little over 17mpg. Overall, the car is already a success, thanks to its combined qualities in all aspects of the car.
