Alfa Romeo lacks cars to use its newly produced two engines
|   Sunday, April 26, 2015
Alfa Romeo had made some plans last year to add more reality and then they will launch it in U.S market. It will add new eight products and till 2018 they will manage to sell 400,000 units. After one of year of this announcement, Alfa has spoke about its first large update and it is the production of two brand new engines out of previously announced five new engines. The short configuration of these two engines are four cylinders high output and another with six cylinders Ferrari derived.
This announcement was made by Alfa in Italy's Termoli and these engines will have cylinder headed milling machines to prove that it is really serious.

After subtracting one year from the five years timeline, Alfa wants to reach 400,000 sales per annum over its newly made eight models with cylinder headed milling machine. The promise to make new engines will be fulfilled at one facility which will not be operational in coming six months which may sound like a big requirement but that is the only reason of it. Alfa Romeo wants to quadruple their total sales in coming four years, during a handful sale of 4C cars in 150,000 units by 2018. Even till today, no brand has managed to propose eight or more new models. This means Alfa may manage to build new engines but it may not have such number of cars to use those engines.

Alfa's new midsize models won't release till the end of current year. The Italian plant has annual production ability of maximum 200,000 units. But this mid-sized car seems like not hitting the target of 200,000 sales. So it will absorb those 200,000 engines; but if they forget about this disbelief for the moment and pretend that the company will still reach this goal by performing double in sales in next two years.

Alfa has few plans to perform better in sales. The upcoming eight new proposed models have two compacts, one mid-size model, one high performing mid-size variant, two SUVs, one full sized model and a new specialty which could be 6C Sports model that will have Maserati's Alfieri. Within 2018, they will launch seven models of them which could help to reach their target.

Reports say, the V6 Alfa will have Ferrari sources in Termoli plant which will be powered by 6C and a new all wheeled drive car of both full and mid sized cars. Another four cylinders car is expected to be produced with high output mid size lower spec model. Alfa Romeo also has promised to launch a gas fed model of four cylinders and another six cylinders based diesel fed model.

It was clear last year when Alfa had announced such big projects that it is a very time taking task to finish all. This is not a prank from the company to raise the number of sails. They actually want to be in top engine making companies that the globe currently has. Since there are so many projects under construction and under concepts, so expect a lot more news coming from Alfa's house every now and then.
