Alfa Romeo, Ford and Chevrolet Have a Busy Year in Front
|   Friday, June 21, 2013
Alfa Romeo has revealed various images showcasing the 4C in production. The 4C is being built at the Modena plant owned by Maserati and has distinguished workshops dedicated to building the 4C. Everything from the first production to the post production stages have been explained clearly and the company claims that they employ the best technology and skilled labor from across the world to manufacture their vehicles.

Engineers at both Alfa Romeo and Maserati have joined hands to develop new technologies that will help both companies move into the next generation effortlessly.
The launch edition model of the 4C is expected to go on sale for an estimated £52,000, insiders have hinted while carbon fiber is an important part in the construction process of this vehicle. Dedicated badges, red or white paint schemes and other extra features give this vehicle its characteristic touch.

Insiders have also hinted at a possibility of just 400 units of the Launch Edition making it across Europe, Middle East and Africa while another 600 will be available across the America and other parts of the world. Although the prices of the standard edition of the 4C has not been revealed as of yet, it is expected to be close to £50,000.

The next generation Ford Mustang was recently spotted testing although the vehicle is due for sale fall 2015. This heavily camouflaged vehicle is in its initial stages of manufacture and as a result the high amount of camouflage was necessary. The roof design can be changed and this is a hunch that has surfaced after the uneven lines were seen on the top of the vehicle. Ford has already announced that its next generation Mustang will receive a considerable amount of cosmetic changes although this is difficult to imagine without the official renderings.

The Mustang is expected to draw power from a new 2.3 liter petrol engine based on the 2.0 liter engine which is currently used to power the Focus ST. The 2.0 liter engine currently powers the European range of Mustangs and a slightly modified version of this engine should be capable of displacing 300 BHP.

The Chevrolet Captiva SUV has received formidable cosmetic changes which were prominent on the latest design of the vehicle. LED lamps have been added to the ride while the bumpers have been remodeled. The suspension has been lowered while the front lamps and mesh bear a new designing aspect. 18 inches of alloyed rims have also been added to the ride and this vehicle sports a more aggressive external look.

Although details of the interior are not available as of yet, a better trim level is expected to feature on the car. Fabrics should be used while stitches could be used for finesse. Three trim options are available on the ride while the price of the base model starts at £21,295 and extends till £29,995. A 2.2 liter VCDi engine is expected to power this vehicle while both automated and manual transmission systems are available on this car.
