2014 Hyundai Santa Fe - updated and ready to hit the market
|   Monday, October 14, 2013
The latest Hyundai Santa Fe has been released two years ago and it was quite a success on the SUV market. Hyundai has rethought the original 2011 model bringing several changes and improvements. In 2014, customers will have the opportunity of choosing between three different models of the new and improved Santa Fe.

Both the seven seat and five seat variants will still be featured and an extra LWB variant. All of the new, rethought models will be equipped with the latest LED technology, exactly as the customers probably expected.
What is more, the new models will also include a couple of other amazing improvements: HID headlights, integrated memory seats and ventilated front seats.

As a super new feature, the engineers will include the Blind Spot Detection on the 2014 model of Santa Fe. No more parking troubles as the new vehicle is going to feature the rear parking assistance system as well. And this is not all! Some of the models that will be released in 2014 will be available with the panoramic sunroof option. Still, no official standard price ranges have been announced so far for the three 2014 Santa Fe models: Santa Fe Sport, Santa Fe and Santa Fe LWB.

Redesigned with a third row of seats, the upcoming model of Santa Fe had to receive some modifications regarding the shape of the windows so that the cabin would receive enough natural sunlight. Also, the passenger room and cargo room have been increased.

The B-pillar and grille design are going to be completely different so that they would match the redesigned flush mounted tow hitch design and the restyled chrome tipped dual exhaust. Also, the new LED taillights and HID headlight offer the vehicle a super sporty, contemporary look.

Inside the cabin, the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe is going to be equipped with a super set of ventilated front seats which is quite a premiere for Hyundai. Another premiere would be the redesigned sunroof which creates a fantastic new atmosphere, dominated by warm, natural light. Those who already own a Santa Fe should be happy to find out that the new vehicle will be available with increased legroom and cargo space.

The new 3.3 liter V6 is going to be available with the six speed automatic transmission and the engine performance has been evaluated at 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.

Another great feature included on the new Santa Fe is the Driver Selectable Steering Mode which provides three different options: Normal, comfort and Sport. Of course, using these options means adapting them to the road conditions by choosing between them: Comfort has definitely been created for in urban driving, Normal is both for in city and outside while Sport is an option that can be selected for a better performance on the freeway.

A competitor of Toyota Highlander and Nissan Pathfinder, the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe is probably going to keep the already earned title of best sold SUV as it is a practical vehicle.
