2013 Toyota\'s New Face
|   Saturday, September 01, 2012
Hatchbacks have taken over the auto industry as per the new trend in the market. Nearly every Auto Maker now has a hatchback competing in the market along with the new SUVs, crossover segments. In fact Sedans have become so out of trend that luxury car makers such as Volvo, BMW and even Audi have released SUVs and Hatchbacks in the market. To go even further, Ferrari, Porsche and even Lamborghini have announced the production of SUVs and Hatchbacks latest by 2014.
The Automakers are really dealing with a highly segmented market.

Toyota is adapting the change and has just unveiled it's new stand to compete in the Hatchback segment of the market. The new Toyota Auris is the first of the next generation of Toyota cars that previews the new face of Toyota. The car is set to make it's debut appearance in the Paris Motor Show next month solely to exhibit the new appearance of all Toyota vehicles. There is a good chance that new Toyota Corolla and Prius are going to look just like it.

After being criticized by many for being too Bland and boring the Toyota designers had enough of reason to try and make the car much more exciting for the drivers. It is exactly why the Toyota is test marketing the reaction of drivers next month with it's all new- Toyota Auris for the C-segment of the Euro Auto Market. The car has been made much sleeker from the front and the lights have completely been changed to give it a more sophisticated and modern look, much like the style you find in KIA's line up.

The front grill also has an LED illuminated Logo and lights to add to the beauty of the grill. Toyota also has reported the car will be the shortest and most compact in the segment as they deicded to chop off 55MM from the roof. Of course that allowed them to stretch the vehicle out a little bit and give the rear passengers and extra 20mm of leg room. All in All Toyota has worked day and night to bring something new to the table and revive it's image in the market.

The new Auris is also expected to be come as a Hybrid and has had some work done with the interior. As per news, the Manufacturer decided to use a little higher quality material for the interior making ot much more stronger and durable in the long run. The old models had been criticized for being too weak and delicate and clearly Toyota has been responding to it's customer complaints. But what about performance? Toyota has been involved in the specifications and details of the engine and has introduced a new 1.4 diesel turbo engine in the lineup. An achievement with the help of it's new partner BMW.

There has also been talk if there will be a new Corolla hybrid in near future for Toyota. Of course the strategy would be silly if Toyota plans to market both Prius and Auris hybrids in the European Market. They would obviously be killing each other's sales.
