2013 Subaru BRZ meant for driving at bumpy highways
|   Tuesday, June 05, 2012
If you are such a driver who loves those sports cars that are light weighted, simple and give a great rear wheel driving experience, then the new 2013 Subaru BRZ is the vehicle that is meant for you. This vehicle is one of its kind in its simplicity. We all have waited for BRZ and now finally our wait has proven to be fruitful. It is going to be coming up for a challenge in mountainous road tracks of LA and Santa Barbara. This time the BRZ will be according to the expectations of all who were waiting for the comeback of this vehicle.

It must be said that the Subaru is such a sports car that is prefect for the roads that are bumpy and curvy. This car was not designed to offer straight line driving. It was made to provide balance to the drivers going through tight racing tracks. No such vehicle has yet been seen in the markets that could compete with this amazing sporty car that weighs about two thousand and eight hundred pounds.

The 2013 Subaru BRZ features 2 liter V 4 engine having 200 horsepower and a torque of 151 pound feet having an rpm of six thousand six hundred which is not found in the usual sports vehicles these days. With the engine in the spin, you will not know how fast you will move from one corner to another. The engine of this sports car can spin from the range of 4500 rpm to about 6500 rpm.

The highest power to which it can go is seven thousand rpm. You cannot reach to units above this range because the power automatically drops down as soon as you reach the peak of the speed. Fortunately, the 6-speed auto transmission did not affect the engine as it easily comes within the power band which provides a smooth reverse blip. The vehicle will not go into the downshift even if the driver presses the acceleration hard. This thing was appreciated by many of the drivers as it proved to be useful when the car is going through choppy surfaces.

Just with the drive of a few mins, BRZ came in the confidence of many drivers. The rods at the vehicle are mounted at the low side and the spring coils are the front side mounted on a brace with a double wish bone. These features were copied from the STI. As everything is on the front, therefore whenever the driver pushes the car, the weight is automatically transferred to the back of the car. In order to make the car go in the stable mode, it has a feature named DSC mode but a good thing is that it will not be needed by the person driving it as the car is already neutral.

Nevertheless, 2013 Subaru BRZ is such a sports vehicle that is meant to provide a comfortable ride to the person driving this lavish sports car all the way through dry and bumpy highways.
