Porsche is ready to launch the most powerful diesel model of all times from its stables this year and the vehicle which sports this crown is none other than the Porsche Cayenne S Diesel. The new Cayenne S Diesel is powered by a 4.3 liter bit turbo eight cylindered diesel engine from Audi and the engine produces a total output of 382 HP.

The Cayenne S Turbo will be showcased at the Paris International Motor Show 2012 and the vehicle is a masterpiece is almost all respects.
Starting from looks to performance, the Cayenne S Diesel is a true performer.
The newly acquired engine from Audi powers the vehicle and all this is efficiently channeled to the rear wheel of this all wheel drive vehicle. The engine produces 850 Nm torque and the induction of the diesel engine makes the vehicle more reliable, comfortable, and easy to drive and fuel efficient.

The vehicle provides dynamic all round performance and has the ability to accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in close to 5.7 seconds. With a top speed of 252 km/h, the Cayenne S Diesel betters the top speed of its predecessor.
The Cayenne S Diesel returns decent fuel efficiency figures of 8.3 liters per 100 km and Porsche has added an innovative start / stop automatic system to the Cayenne S Diesel which saves fuel as well.

The Cayenne S is also equipped with the Porsche Torque Monitoring System, which along with the all wheel drive technology helps the vehicle perform better. The maximum towing capacity of this vehicle has been calculated to be around 3.5 metric tons and hence Porsche claims that the vehicle is perfect for the purpose of being used as a tow truck or pickup.
Porsche has also set up a special 100 liter fuel tank to help customers travel close to 1,200 km on a single tank of fuel. The car has received minor cosmetic changes that differentiate it from the Cayenne Petrol. However, these are just minor changes and overall both the models share same exterior design cues.

The Cayenne S Diesel sports the silver braking levers which helps the vehicle stop in time as this has more power. The bonnet also features black inlets to let in air and the new Cayenne sports diesel badges on the exterior to differentiate it from the petrol model.

The diesel sports similar wheelbase as that of the petrol variant and the transmission has been diabolically mated to the engine to optimize the output. The total torque output is transmitted to the all wheel drive technology and the vehicle remains stable.

The aerodynamics has also been worked upon and as a result there is an added sense of safety while driving the vehicle. The suspension works to its full potential and this maximizes comfort. The Cayenne S Diesel starts from77, 684 Euros in Germany which includes a 19 percent VAT and an array of taxes. The estimated price for the United Kingdom is estimated to be close to 58,243 Pounds including VAT and other taxes.
