The new Mazda CX-7 is one of the few models that combines sportive design and driving pleasure with the space and functionality of an SUV. The CX-7 has been successful since it was launched, with approximately 190.000 units sold world wide and over 15 awards. The facelift model redefines the characteristics in terms of design, performance and emotion, also evolved in terms of comfort. In addition, the new MZR-CD diesel 2.2 liter is added to the gasoline powertrain, both meeting the Euro 5 Stantards. The starting price with all the taxes for the diesel engine model is 28.290 Euro.

The Mazda CX-7 facelift model is presented with two engines: the new diesel one and the old and devoted gasoline one. The long-waited MZR-CD 2.2 liter diesel turbocharger produces 173 hp and 400 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 11.3 seconds and a top speed of 124 mph. The CX-7 diesel facelift respects the Euro 5 Standards and presents a combined consumption of 7.5l/60 miles. At the reduced consumption contributes the electric assisted steering and in the significantly improved ride of this new version.

The gasoline DISI 2.3 turbo engine also respects the Euro 5 regulations, developing 260 hp and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. The gasoline version can reach a top speed of over 130 mph and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 8.2 seconds. An important role in reducing the harmful exhaust gases is the unique Mazda catalyst that incorporates single-nanotechnology system, which reduces the required quantity of precious metal.

From the exterior, the new model retains and emphasizes the sport lines, inherited from the old generation, bringing new elements. For a more dynamic and sportive look, in the front was built a five-point grill, and the front bumper holds new headlights and fog lights. The premium character is also emphasized, both the grill and side skirts of the facelift version are now having chrome fittings incorporated. The visual enhancement continues with the modified rear spoiler, both under the trunk and above the rear window. The exterior is completed with new alloy wheels – 18” or 19”( depending on the equipment version) - with tridimensional look. The color list is now available with three new shades: Aluminium Metallic, Sparkling Black Mica and Stormy Blue Mica.

From the interior the new Mazda CX-7 facelift combines functionality and space provided by an SUV with sportive influences and interior ergonomics. The front seats are electrically adjustable, the driver enjoying the personal custom adjustment memory system. Along with the new steering wheel, which has been redesigned and includes several commands, the dashboard was covered with more touch-pleasant materials and the ventilation holes have been framed with chrome rings, enhancing the premium feel og the interior. Quality is emphasized and the perfect combination of material on the dashboard, specific for the vehicles assembled in Japan.

The tachymeter timer and rev counter were also equipped with new indicators and dials, with three-dimensional look. Depending on the equipment version, the CX-7 facelift can be equipped with navigation system, communicating with passengers through the new Multi-Information Display (MID), along which are found the standard MP3 compatible radio CD player, automatic air conditioning and electric windows. You can benefit too from cruise control, anti-theft system, light and rain sensors, heated front seats, adaptive bi-xenon headlight, leather upholstery and Hi-Fi Bose sound system with eight speakers and a subwoofer.
