Lamborghini recently confirmed that it plans on bringing the V10 powered, 600 BHP displacing Huracan to British soil by autumn 2014 and the talks and speculations surrounding this vehicle have never died down since. Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 comes in as a Gallardo replacement while belonging to similar category. Lamborghini will be providing four wheel drive functionality initially, while a rear wheel drive based vehicle should be available by the second quarter of 2015.

Spyder and Roadster variants of this vehicle are also on the cards while renderings of all these vehicles are doing the official rounds. External modifications have been conducted to enhance aerodynamics as well as give the car a buffed up look and wheel arches have been added to enhance flair. Tail light graphics and LED head lamps have been borrowed from the Lamborghini Aventador although this vehicle has a very original feel.

It was initially named Cabrera but top officials later renamed it. This vehicle has been spotted testing at various locations lately and is Lamborghini's next flag ship model. Performance level is not the only thing buffed up as insiders have given up subtle hints at this vehicle sporting upgraded interior trims. Performance parameter is important but not all in all while deciding a vehicle's fate when it hits global markets. In order to attract sales, it needs to appeal to a larger customer base.

When a vehicle sports a premium price tag such as a Lamborghini, best in class support and quality is expected. Lamborghini has set up its own benchmark owing to successful vehicles such as the Gallardo and the Aventador, which has increased our expectation level. The Huracan happens to be the youngest in the Gallardo family, since Audi took over in 1998.

McLaren's MP4 12C, Audi's R8 and Ferrari's 458 are its major competitors and we expect major action in this category very soon. Does the Huracan have what it takes to take on the big players? We need to stick around and find out. Tall claims have been made about this vehicle although we need to wait till end 2014 to find out.
