General Motors introduced the Chevrolet Spin to the Brazilian market in June and the MPV is already a huge hit with the Brazilian people. The Spin is an MPV and is focused on the family circuit. The Spin was re designed to suit the Brazilian market and this designing was done at the Sao Caetano do Sul factory of General Motors at Sao Paulo.

The required tests were carried out and all the required changes made before the MPV came into existence. The Spin is set to be manufactures at the Sao Caetano do Sul factory of General Motors and the Bekasi facility of Indonesia.

General Motor’s spokesperson for South America, Pedro Manuchakian, said at a recent press meeting that the Spin is designed to suit the different markets and the specifications are being altered keeping that in mind.

The car will be left hand, right hand drive, and come with different engine options and seat placement depending upon the targeted market and the necessary amendments have been made before the car was cleared to be launched in the Brazilian market.

The Chevrolet Spin is set to become the next sensation in Brazil, due to its performance, economy, technology, design and affordability. The Spin has a muscular design and sports the unique Chevrolet grille up front.

The high belt line and the aggressive side lines lend the car a muscular look and the split grille along with the traditional slit head lamps gives the Spin a unique effect. The designing has been done keeping aerodynamics in mind and the Spin has been made as aerodynamic as possible.
