Nissan Xterra is now a much better SUV than it was when it was launched some ten years ago. This SUV has perfect drive under heavy snow conditions. The leather seats are not power heated. This vehicle is tailor made for mountainous areas whereas other cars would fail. The steering felt like an anchor and most people would be uncomfortable with such a heavy steering. I think the target audience would not mind this fact. Though the car does respond nicely to all the inputs applied. It has employed four wheels anti lock brake system. The length of the steel wheel is sixteen inches. It is equipped with six airbags. The car is armed with power doors and power windows.

Additional features
The entertainment t system includes an audio system along with a CD changer. A satellite radio is also available. Other added features are Bluetooth hands free calling, compass and portable navigation system. The font seats are quite spacious, both for feet and head while the case is a bit different for back seat passengers. With the usage of plastic in interior which can be cleansed, it can be used for keeping mud-spattered cycles, and other stuff. Also it has a storage capacity of 36.3 cubic feet. But when back seats you can get double the space.

The off road and SE model also have nine high powered speakers with a sub woofer. It is accident proof with airbags installed at the roof too.

Now, national highway traffic safety administration is an organization which examines every car for its safety features. This car obtained four star rating in terms of front crash. But it received 5 star rating in side impact for front and rear passengers. The conventional SUV’s have an average rating of 3 stars.
