The Mercedes AMG GT, Instinct Peugeot and Volkswagen Sedric are just some of the concepts that we could gaze upon at the Geneva Motor Show this year. After all, no self-respecting show would be complete without concept cars. At Geneva, the auto manufacturers competed in presenting futuristic concepts that were more or less realistic, but certainly spectacular.
In our rather subjective ranking, we gave top marks to concepts like Mercedes AMG GT, Peugeot Instinct, and Volkswagen Sedric, but Citroen, Renault and Bentley have not disappointed in this regard either.
1. Audi Q8 Sport Concept
Audi came to Geneva with a new concept for the future Q3 series model, this time called Q8 Sport Concept. It uses a V6 TFSI engine with a displacement of 3.0 liters and has a Mild Hybrid system.
2. Bentley EXP12 Speed 6e Concept
Bentley believes that electric cars have a future in the luxury segment too, and presents the EXP 12 Speed 6e concept, which is induction charged, precisely to suit that goal.
3. Citroen C-Aircross Concept
Citroen C-Aircross is a concept for a subcompact SUV, the series version of which will replace the C3 Picasso, and will compete with models like the Renault Captur, Peugeot 2008 or Opel Mokka.
4. Honda Neuv Concept
Honda Neuve is a unique electric car concept that predicts the mental condition of driver and offers him various tips, and which integrates payment for electricity refills.
5. Hyundai FE Fuel Cell Concept
Hyundai FE Fuel Cell is a concept with an autonomy of 800 kilometers that stands out for its minimalist design. The manufacturer has already announced that it anticipates launching a practical series hydrogen powered SUV by 2018.
6. Mercedes AMG GT Concept
Lately, Mercedes-AMG has launched numerous models through which it intensified the struggle with rivals from Porsche. This time, we are talking about a concept, which, by its size and design, would fight with Porsche's Panamera in a hypothetical series version.
7. Peugeot Instinct Concept
Perhaps the most courageous project of the French manufacturer, the Peugeot Instinct is a unique concept equipped with autonomous functions, personal assistant, and video cameras the optical blocks, while the hybrid drive provides 300 horsepower.
8. Renault Zoe e-Sports Concept
Renault Zoe e-Sport is a concept based on the series version electric model and elements of the Formula E race car, which stands out through an aggressive design and a motor of 460 hp, which allows it to reach 100 km / h in only 3.2 seconds.
9. Ssangyong XAVL Concept
Ssangyong has brought to Geneva a concept which will massively inspire the new generation Rexton SUV. However, the most unusual items are the airbags, one of which is outside, for pedestrians, and another placed centrally between the driver and passenger.
10. Volkswagen Sedric Concept
Volkswagen is preparing for launching urban transport service Moia and until then proposes a novel concept called Sedric. This is the basis of self-series models, on which will develop the brands of the Volkswagen Group.
